The Vienna Tourist Board has decided to bring the city's museums to OnlyFans so as to avoid the ban on the platforms for artistic nudes. The Vienna Tourist Board (the body that brings together all the museums of the Austrian capital) has decided to open an OnlyFans account to allow the structures to promote works depicting artistic nudes without being banned from other social platforms. The origin of the problem dates back to recent months, during which numerous Capitoline structures saw their accounts closed or contents representing nude works of art deleted, because they were deemed " inappropriate " by social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. The initiative was promoted through a video and a press release and sheds light on a latent problem of the platforms: the inability of algorithms to distinguish inappropriate content from an artistic work. We addressed the issue in this episode of the Weekly News podcast.
